Reliance Security Announces New Ownership
LAS VEGAS – September 4, 2019 – Reliance Security, a veteran-founded, full-service security company, announced today the transfer of ownership from founder Steve Rybar to the organization’s longtime Chief Operating Officer, Joel Logan.
Logan, with an extensive background in security and law enforcement, has worked closely with Rybar since the company’s inception in 2012 to provide clients with exceptional security services and solutions. As Reliance’s new owner and CEO, Logan will oversee operations and maintain the existing brand, team, and service offerings.
A former law enforcement officer for more than 10 years, Logan has expertise in Use of Force and the associated liability training. While employed by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department and San Bernardino Police Department, Logan was responsible for managing and evaluating the performance of Police Officers. He created policy and procedure manuals and was a trainer in report writing and critical incident documentation. In addition, Logan has expertise in private security, managing teams in excess of 400 officers. Previously, he received government security clearance and served as a Lead Investigator for an aerospace company. He served as Corporate Security Officer and Contract Manager on a Department of Homeland Security federal contract.

Reliance Security Promotes Erica Grabowski to Chief Security Officer
LAS VEGAS – February 27, 2019 – Reliance Security, a veteran-owned, full-service security company, announced that Erica Grabowski was promoted to Chief Security Officer.
Previously the Director of Business Development, Grabowski will now manage client accounts, monitor daily analytics, and oversee the implementation of policies to ensure the company’s operations and staff are performing at the highest level.

Reliance Security Adds Armed Services Division

Created after receiving requests from clients who desired enhanced protection at their locations, Reliance now provides the service at five residential properties.
